Knights and princesses party
This is a great birthday party idea for adults aswell as children. Bascially you set the theme of the party around knights and dragons and get the boys or men to dress as knights and the girls or women to dress as damsels.

Costumes can be purchased inexpensivley a comprehensive selection of mens/boys knight (crusader) costumes are availiable. And princess costumes for the women and girls.
Parties are always so much more enjoyable when there is a theme to them and your guests will be loving the fact they have to dress up.

Hawaiian Luau
Hawaiian party
Teenage birthday party ideas

This is a party theme that can be carried out inexpensively, and is lots of fun. Go to your library and get CDs of old-fashioned Hawaiian music. Decorate the space with streamers and fresh flowers. Serve fruits like pineapples and oranges with sweet dipping sauces, and make a huge bowl of fruity punch. Give each teenager a lei and have them compete in limbo contests and ring toss. Allow them to float away in a tropical dreamland.

A big part of any luau is letting your guests dress up. You have plenty of costumes and accessories to choose from including leis, hula skirts, shell bikini tops, and even coconut tops. (My buddy John puts on this coconut top at every luau and beach party and we laugh every single time.) Top it off with a “Carmen Miranda” hat and you are there!
For game ideas, you could play LIMBO and HULA HOOPS
