Dizzy lizzy outdoor party games

Dizzy lizzy - outdoor party game

This is a great game for an outdoor party with the family.

Get 2 broomsticks or similar sticks.

It’s a relay race. Divide players into two teams and place two sticks at the other end of the room or garden.

On the signal each player takes a turn to do the following:

- run to the stick
- hold the broom stick upright and place your forehead on the top (so you’re looking at the floor)
- run your legs around the stick in a circle, whilst keeping your forehead on the stick
- every one on your team counts your circles up to 10
- then run back to your team and tag the next player

First team to finish wins.

The point is you get very dizzy and it’s difficult to actually complete without falling over.
Have fun!

Pub golf - the ultimate drinking game

 Pub golf

You have not played a drinking game untill you have participated in pub golf. It is a right laugh and every one has good fun, here is a little guide to setting up the drinking game.

Setting up a Pub Golf Event

Step 1: decide on a date and time for the event.  i love uni Pub Golf is played over 9 holes because if the event’s played correctly you’ll be on the floor by then and unable to finish 18!
Step 2: decide upon what pubs/bars you are going to and in what order.
Step 3: Tell your mates*.
Step 4: Print enough score cards

*For hardcore players  ALL players must be dressed in suitable golf attire to participate in the event.  An Official also needs to be appointed to regulate the events running and enforce any penalty shot for misconduct of the rules.

Label the pubs from 1-9 that you have chosen. Each pub has a par just like golf, a par is taken when a players mouth touches the bottle or glass, the aim is to complete the course with as little points as possible.

There are various versions of the rules etc we have some print outs for you below

The complete guide to pub golf

Pub golf printable score card

print off the pub golf score cards and enjoy, customise it for your needs and pubs/bars.

Why not spice it up a little and add a bunker pub, to get out the bunker you must do a shot of the nastiest spirit availiable  (absinthe?) any players how do not do this ’shot’ using the ’sand wedge’ then they must take a 2 point forefiet and gain 2 points.

The Mafia Game - Teenage Birthday Party Games / Drinking Game

The Mafia Game - Teenage Birthday Party Games / Drinking Game

Intro:
“This game is the best party game I have ever played.”
It can be expanded to a drinking game or you can keep individual scores, but mostly it is just a blast as is.

Number of People:
You need at least 3 people, the more the better.

Equipment:
A deck of cards, or another way to secretly determine which people will be the “undercover cops”.

Concept:
Imagine the group of people are mafia members in a meeting, however the group has been infiltrated by a small number of undercover cops, and the mafia members know this, they have also been informed of the number of undercover cops.

The mafia will not rest until all of the undercover cops are dead, but as soon as there is an equal number of cops to mafia members the cops have enough power to capture the mafia members and win. The group votes to decide who to whack.

Instructions:
For every 3 people there will be one undercover cop (you can tweak this ratio to make it harder or easier). Say there are 9 people: get 3 aces, and 6 other cards, put them in a pile and have each person pull a card, if you get an ace you are a cop.

Choose one person to be the announcer, the announcer says “everyone put your heads down and close your eyes”
Wait 3 seconds, then say “undercover cops open your eyes and determine who your partners are”
Wait 3 seconds, then say “undercover cops close your eyes”
Wait 3 seconds, then say “everyone open your eyes”

The fun begins.

There are no rules to the game, except you cannot touch anybody or their card. If you are an undercover cop you will have to lie a lot. If you are in a religious group you may want to make a rule that you can’t “swear on the bible”, or “swear on your dead grandmothers grave”. You can ask anyone any question. You will notice undercover cops acting suspiciously, when a cop is being questioned his/her partner may try to shift attention away from that person onto someone else… there are a lot of strategies that can be used.

When the group is coming to a decision whether they want to whack a person, one person will raise his/her hand and say “I’m voting to whack so and so”, then other people will raise their hand of they agree, as soon as the majority of people have voted this person is whacked and they must reveal their card.

The “majority” is as follows: If there are 6 people alive, then there will be 5 people voting against one person, there must be 3 votes in favor of whacking the person. If there are 7 people in the group, there will be 6 people voting against one person, there must be 4 votes in favor of whacking the person.

The game ends when all cops are killed, or there are the same number of cops and mafia members, in this case the cops win.

Variations:
You can have dead mafia members still be apart of the game, they just can’t vote, this makes it easier for the mafia because you know you can trust what this person is saying.

Generally dead cops should stop playing entirely, they will only hurt the cops by giving away their partner(s). If the game is competitive I recommend the cops leave the room - although this isn’t as fun. When playing it with 3 cops, I was the only cop left and there were 4 people left, when we killed off a mafia member one of the dead cops got up and high fived me thinking we had won! GAME OVER.

Drinking rules:
Make up your own… here are some examples: At the end of the game, all members of the losing team drink. Or you can drink for each fallen comrade.

Dirty Pint - the drink game

Dirty Pint

This drinking game uses a central drinking glass and a coin.

Each player takes it in turns. On their turn, they put any amount of their own drink they choose into the central drinking glass (the ‘Dirty Pint’). They then must toss a coin, calling which side they predict it will land on.

If they choose correctly, then the Dirty Pint is passed to the next player. He/she then adds their chosen amount and then tosses then coin themselves.

If they choose incorrectly, they must down whatever is in the Dirty Pint at that time.

The Dirty Pint is then passed to the next person and the game continues.

Ring of fire drinking game

Ring Of Fire

This is a game of drinking games within a game using a pack of cards. Each card means a different thing and the aim is to try not to break the Ring Of Fire.

At the start of the game the pack of cards is spread out in a ring (the Ring Of Fire) so that there are no gaps in the ring. A large glass is placed in the middle. This is shown below:

Each player takes in turn to pull out a card. Each card means something different and this is explained below. The aim is to try to keep the ring of cards intact - i.e. so that no gap appears between any of the cards in the ring.

The first person to create a gap has broken the Ring Of Fire. You  may not re-arrange other cards to attempt to keep the ring unbroken. The breaker of the ring must down whatever is in the glass in the middle of the table at that time.

Each card is allocated a different meaning. These can be varied but a common, and good, allocation is:

ACE

Drink one finger

If the card is red, the person picking the card must drink. If the card is black, they may nominate someone else to drink the penalty.

2 Drink two fingers

As for ACE but two fingers.

3 Drink three fingers

As for ACE but three fingers.

4 Drink four fingers

As for ACE but four fingers.

5 Drink five fingers

As for ACE but five fingers.

6 21s

Play a game of 21s.

7 The Frog Jumped In The Pond

Play a game of The Frog Jumped In The Pond.

8 Pose Master

See Pose Master for rules. The only difference is that the holder of this card remains as Pose Master until another 8 is picked up.

9 Toilet Card

Only a player holding one of these may go to the toilet until the game finishes. Once it has been used, it is discarded.

10 Human Beat Box

The person to the right of whoever picks this starts up a human beat box rap beat. The picker of the card then ‘raps’ a line ending in a word fairly easy to rhyme to. The person to their left then raps another line, which must rhyme with the first. This passes around the circle and carries on going. If anyone can’t rap a rhyming line, or repeats a rhyming word already used, they must drink three fingers.

J Jackanory: Tell A Story

Starting with the card holder and going round, each person adds one word to a story. Each person must repeat the whole story each time. The first person to make a mistake drinks 3 fingers.

Q Question Master

See Question Master for rules. Whoever picks up the Queen is Question Master until another Queen is picked up.

K Dirty Pint

Whoever picks a King can add however much of their drink they like to the glass in the middle of the Ring Of Fire. If the ring has already been broken, then play a game of Dirty Pint.
